Current Job Opportunities:

Mechanical Engineer/Project Engineer
Job Location: Meadville, PA office
Pay range: $60,000 - $85,000 base salary
Job Duties:

  • Development of drawings/schematic designs for site layout, process flow diagrams, and boiler room layout for industrial, commercial, institutional and government facilities
  • Perform engineering calculations for design of HVAC systems for various facilities, under supervision and guidance of senior engineer
  • Development of engineering cost estimates and life-cycle cost analyses for CHP and district heating projects, under supervision and guidance of senior engineer
  • Conduct energy audits of processes and building envelopes for existing facilities and evaluate and recommend energy efficiency improvements
  • Writing of reports summarizing designs and analyses, writing of grant applications for clients
  • Development of presentations for project managers and clients

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years experience is envisioned, but other levels of experience will be considered
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering from ABET accredited school
  • EIT certification or PE is a plus, but not required
  • A high level of proficiency with drafting software is required
  • Demonstrated ability/willingness to perform a wide array of project development activities including:
    • Writing of reports and memos
    • Development of project schedules
    • Development of drawings and specifications
    • Cost estimation
