Current Job Opportunities:
Mechanical Engineer/Project Engineer
Job Location: Meadville, PA office
Pay range: $60,000 - $85,000 base salary
Job Duties:
- Development of drawings/schematic designs for site layout, process flow diagrams, and boiler room layout for industrial, commercial, institutional and government facilities
- Perform engineering calculations for design of HVAC systems for various facilities, under supervision and guidance of senior engineer
- Development of engineering cost estimates and life-cycle cost analyses for CHP and district heating projects, under supervision and guidance of senior engineer
- Conduct energy audits of processes and building envelopes for existing facilities and evaluate and recommend energy efficiency improvements
- Writing of reports summarizing designs and analyses, writing of grant applications for clients
- Development of presentations for project managers and clients
Requirements:
- 2-5 years experience is envisioned, but other levels of experience will be considered
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering from ABET accredited school
- EIT certification or PE is a plus, but not required
- A high level of proficiency with drafting software is required
- Demonstrated ability/willingness to perform a wide array of project development activities including:
- Writing of reports and memos
- Development of project schedules
- Development of drawings and specifications
- Cost estimation
